Balanced Budget/Tax Limitation Amendment

This Congress needs to be about limiting, taming and shrinking the federal government. From regulatory overkill to the litigation explosion, business is paying the price for each day that these issues go unresolved. The need for change is obvious- just look at your own business and the impact that federal intrusion has had on your profitability.

It doesn’t need to be like this. The opportunity before us is unprecedented- for the first time in almost 70 years, we have a historic opportunity to bring this country to unparalleled prosperity. A Balanced Budget/Tax Limitation Amendment is something will be aggressively pushing for in this Congress. (The tax limitation clause requires a supermajority vote for any tax increase) We must show the American people that they can have faith in the current Congress. If we fail, we will almost certainly face a return to the same old “tax and spend” mentality that has led this country to the brink of bankruptcy.
