Dear Senator McCain:
My
name Is Malcolm Lunn, Chairman of the Board, United
Small Business of America. As you are aware, we
are a national small business grassroots organization
with an underlying membership of approximately
5000 members. Our organization mantra would fit
into your campaign promises, big government is
and always will be a cancer growth on the liberty
of America, and cancer never limits its growth
except by devouring its seeds of ruination with
legislation that has unceasingly robbed the populace
of freedom by placing more and more "laws"
above that freedom.
We
want to congratulate you on your nomination for
President and for the courage to pick the exhilarating
Governor Sarah Palin for Vice President. We became
cognizant of her months ago because of Newt Gingrich
and Bill Kristol, who both raved about her. We
checked with some of our member in Alaska and
we were convinced that she would be a fantastic
running mate for you- she excites the Evangelicals
and will definitely help you in all the swing
states- she is a game changer!
We have noticed that the ultra-liberal
pro-Obama media loves to nit-pick any of your
comments, even if they are said in jest (5 million
rich). We have also noticed that we rarely see
or hear any of Sen. Obamas or Sen. Bidens.
We thought we would send you some examples that
you and your team may have missed:
1.) On a campaign stop in Oregon,
he stated "Over the last 15 months, weve
travelled to every corner of the United States.
Ive now been seen in 57 states! I think
one left to go!"
2.)
Last May he said, "In case you missed it
this week, there was a tragedy in Kansas! Ten
thousand people died-an entire town destroyed."
The actual death toll: 12.
3.) A couple of months ago,
in front of a roaring Sioux Falls, South Dakota
audience, Sen. Obama exulted "Thank you Sioux
City. I said it wrong. Ive been in Iowa
for too long. Im sorry."
4.) When he was asked why he
had trailed Sen. Clinton in Kentucky he again
botched basic geography: " Sen. Clinton,
I think is much better known, coming from a nearby
state of Arkansas. So its not surprising
that she would have an advantage in some of those
states in the middle." Only on a map drawn
by Sen. Obama is Arkansas closer to Kentucky than
Illinois!
5.) Sen. Obama has had just
as much trouble with numbers as he has with maps.
Last March on the anniversary of the "bloody
Sunday March" in Selma, Alabama he claimed
his parents "united" as a direct result
of the civil rights movement. "There was
something stirring across the country because
of what happened in Selma, Alabama because some
folks are willing to march across a bridge. So
they got together and Barack Obama Jr. was born."
Sen. Obama was born in 1961, The Selma march took
place in 1965.
6.) A couple of months ago
in Oregon, Sen. Obama pleaded ignorance (amazing)
of the decades-old, multi-billion-dollar massive
Hanford nuclear waste cleanup. "Heres
something that you will rarely hear from a politician,
and that is that Im not familiar with the
Hanford uuuuuhh, site, so I dont know exactly
whats going on there. Now, having said that,
I promise you Ill learn about it by the
time I leave here on the ride back to the airport.
"The only problem with his comments in that
he voted on a bill that addressed in detail the
"costs, schedules and technical issues"
dealing with the nations most contaminated
nuclear waste site.
7.) Last March, the Chicago
Tribune reported about a fake autobiographical
detail in Sen. Obamas "Dreams From
My Father." "Then theres the copy
of Life magazine that Sen. Obama presents as his
racial awakening at age 9. In it. He wrote, was
an article and two accompanying photographs of
an African-American man physically and mentally
scarred by his efforts to lighten his skin."
In fact, the Life article and the photographs
dont exist say the magazines own historians.
8.) At the convention, another
problem with his geography-when asked where he
was speaking from, he said he was in St. Louis-
he was in Kansas City.
9.)
Just the other day Sen. Biden was in Columbia,
Missouri. State Senator Chuck Graham was there
in his wheelchair. Sen. Biden said "Stand
up Chuck, let them see you- oh God love you-what
am I talking about-Ill tell you what-were
making everyone else stand up stand up for
Chuck."
We appreciate you and Governor
Palins desire to "reform" Washington,
D.C. . Let us know if we can help you in any way.
Sincerely,
Malcolm Lunn
